PIERRE - South Dakota is getting another financial bonus for good work in running the food stamp program.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture will give $224,571 to the state for its quick processing of food stamp applications. It's part of $18 million in bonuses the USDA is giving states for efficient administration of the federal program.

Earlier this year, South Dakota received a $617,664 bonus for its low error rate in the food stamp program.
