Police arrested two Rapid City men Wednesday following three armed robberies.
Max Imberi, 18, and Ryan Reub, 23, both of Rapid City, were arrested on charges of armed robbery, according to the Rapid City Police Department. Police also recovered a BB gun during their investigation.
The men were arrested in connection with three incidents that took place Tuesday and Wednesday.
Police said a male subject entered Big D at 850 E. North St. around 9 p.m. Tuesday and asked the clerk for a pack of cigarettes. As the clerk asked for identification the man showed a handgun and demanded cash. The clerk turned over an undisclosed amount of cash, according to police, and the suspect fled.
In another incident, police were called to a Little Caesars at 2120 W. Main St. around 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday where a man pointed a gun at the manager and demanded money. The manager refused, and the suspect was seen leaving the scene in a vehicle with another man.
Around 1:20 p.m. Wednesday police responded to a call at Red E Cash at 315 E. St. Patrick St. where another man displayed a gun at a counter. He demanded money, but the employee refused and the suspect fled.
The investigation into the robberies is continuing.
