A man was stabbed in the leg with a large nail Friday evening at his Rapid City home. 

A man came to the victim's apartment on Mount Rushmore Road and Omaha Street and stabbed him with the nail, according to the Rapid City Police Department.

The victim was transported to the hospital. His injuries were not life-threatening.

In a separate incident Sunday, police found a man with a gash on his forearm near the corner of East North and Waterloo streets.

The man told police he was jumped and didn't know what he was cut with. He was transported to the hospital; his injuries were not life-threatening.

Police have no leads in either incident, according to police spokeswoman Tarah Heupel, but both remain under investigation.
