RICHFIELD, Minn. | Audrey Kay Seljeskog, 81, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loving family at N. C. Little Hospice on Sept. 8, 2017.
Audrey Seljeskog was born on Nov. 3, 1935, in St. Paul, MN. Audrey was the daughter of the late Dora (Mylerberg) Pearson and Murel Pearson of Minneapolis, MN. Raised in Minneapolis, she graduated from Roosevelt High in 1954 and attended classes at the University of Minnesota. She worked at the Minneapolis Grain Exchange and TCF Bank. In 1955, Audrey married Edward Seljeskog and together they raised three children: Vanessa, Steve and Eric.
Audrey enjoyed spending time with her friends and family in games of tennis, rounds of golf, regular walks around the lakes of Minneapolis and many other outdoor activities. She was an avid reader and a skilled scrabble and card player. Audrey especially loved following her beloved Minnesota Twins baseball team.
Audrey will be dearly missed by sister, Muriel Pearson of Minneapolis; daughter, Vanessa Seljeskog (Martha Nause) of Minneapolis; sons, Steven Seljeskog (Sarah) and Eric (Terri) Seljeskog of Rapid City, SD; grandchildren, Stephanie, Spencer, Secily, Samantha, Danielle, and Annika; great-granddaughter, Bailey; and many other family and friends.
Audrey was preceded in death by her mother, Dora (Mylerberg) Pearson, her father, Murel Pearson; brother, Allan; and daughter, Christine.
A memorial service will be held for family and friends at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 15, at Mount Olivet Lutheran Church, 5025 Knox Ave. S., in Minneapolis. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.
The family also wishes to recognize the loving care and compassion shown to Audrey from the staff at N.C. Little Hospice.
