Mohler prepared to be county auditor
Cindy Mohler has worked for me in the Pennington County Auditor's Office for 18 of the almost 32 years I have been proud to serve the people of Pennington County. Her experience and knowledge of the responsibilities of the county auditor is unmatched. Cindy is far and away the clear choice for our next county auditor.
The county auditor has front line responsibility to ensure the accuracy and credibility of the county's financial accounting system and the integrity of our election process. I can say without qualm or hesitation Cindy Mohler is 100 percent up to these critical responsibilities. I know Cindy Mohler is committed to continuing the professional, positive commitment of the auditor's office to serve all citizens of Pennington County. She will be able to work in the same non-confrontational manner with our commissioners and employees, department heads and other elected officials.
There is simply no doubt Cindy Mohler has the integrity, experience and commitment to be our next county auditor. Please vote for Cindy Mohler on June 5 in the Republican primary. The winner of this election will be our next Pennington County Auditor.
Jackley has skills to be governor
Marty Jackley was a student in an electrical engineering class that I taught at the School of Mines in 1990. As part of their engineering education, students are taught to think critically to solve problems based on fundamental scientific principles.
It is very gratifying to see that Marty is using his analytical problem-solving skills to now solve complex problems of a different nature. Clearly, Marty has developed a toolbox of skills to solve problems that are very important to the future of South Dakota. The governor of South Dakota will be challenged to solve many problems that we cannot envision today. I am confident that Marty will find the right solutions for South Dakota.
I am proud to support Mr. Jackley’s candidacy in the June 5 Republican primary election. I welcome you to join me in electing him to be our Republican candidate for governor in November’s general election.
Bjorkman, Sutton will bring change
As an Army veteran and paid up for life member with the American Legion and a member of Post 22 Rapid City, I would like to endorse Tim Bjorkman of Canistota for Congress in the House of Representatives. He has members of his family who served in the military, and he believes in transparency in solving corruption in South Dakota and Washington.
I also want to endorse Billy Sutton for governor for South Dakota from Burke, who knows about hard work plus transparency. We the people vote on ballot initiatives but are ignored by politicians in Pierre who overturn the people’s vote for hard-fought victories.
According to the Rapid City Journal, we have 385 homeless people in Rapid City, 50 who are veterans. So please consider a change for the better outcome for honesty and transparency plus ethics reform.
