From left, Sam Kooiker asks Pat Roseland, chairman of the Rapid City Historic Preservation Committee, about the restored clock as Lonnie Tutsch looks on during the Public Dedication Ceremony of the historical clock at 7th and Main Streets in Rapid City on Saturday, May 21, 2011. The clock was a sign for the 1914 First National Bank building at the southeast corner of 7th and Main streets. It had a chime that used to sound on the hour, and it was a downtown landmark. A group effort which included the help of Rosenbaum Signs and Modern Woodmen came together to restore the historical clock. The clock was installed on Thursday. Tutsch is with Modern Woodmen, which helped with the stained-glass restoration. (Aaron Rosenblatt/Journal staff)
