High School Wrestling: Bison down Patriots

Hot Springs downed Douglas in a wrestling dual that featured just five matches and a number of open weights, 41-36 on Tuesday.

Hot Springs used its junior varsity in the dual because the varsity wrestlers are nearing their limit of weigh-ins in a season.

Damon Lappe and Kota Simonson each picked up first-period pins for the Patriots.

Douglas and Hot Springs are not back in action until the  regional tournament.
