After scoring 9 goals in the last 10 games, Pavel Jenys of the Rapid City Rush has been called up to the AHL's Iowa Wild.
Jenys has 12 goals, 9 assists for 21 points in 29 games this season. He has picked up his production since the season started, scoring only 7 points in the first 18 games of the year and 14 in the last 11.
He heads to Iowa on a six-point streak and as the team leader in goals and has already tied his career season high in that category.
The Brno, Czech Republic native played 46 games last season with the Quad City Mallards where he registered 16 points (12 goals, 4 assists). He also appeared in eight games for Iowa last season while Quad City was the Minnesota Wild's AHL affiliate. He had three assists for Iowa last season.
The Rush (10-21-1-0) take on the Colorado Eagles Wednesday. Jenys will suit up for the Wild Saturday when they take on the Manitoba Moose on the road.
