RAPID CITY - The pairings have been announced for the Region 3A American Legion Baseball Tournament on July 30 through Aug. 1 in Pierre.
Sturgis will meet the host team Pierre at 11 a.m. in Game 1 on July 30, followed by Rapid City Post 320 and Spearfish at 2 p.m. Rapid City Post 22 will play the winner between Pierre and Sturgis at 5 p.m.
The three-day tournament is double elimination and all games will be nine innings long. The 10-run mercy rule will be in place after seven innings.
The winner advances to the South Dakota State Championship Tournament on Aug. 6-10 in Aberdeen.
