The South Dakota State University Alumni Association is hosting its 28th annual West River Golf Tournament and Auction on Friday at Spearfish Canyon Country Club.
There will be a putting contest at 11:30 a.m. and the golf tournament is scheduled for a shotgun start at 1 p.m. The banquet and auction will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the First Gold Hotel and Casino in Deadwood. SDSU has reserved a block of rooms at the hotel for that night, so call 1-800-274-1876 to reserve one.
Prices for the tournament are $80 for a single person, just golf; $110 for single golf and banquet; $140 for couple golf, no banquet; $130 for one golf, couple banquet; $150 for couple golf, one banquet or $35 apiece for single banquet tickets.
