SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - Rapid City native Phil Henzlik turned in the best performance for the University of Wyoming on the first day of the sixth annual Wyoming Cowboy Classic.
Henzlik, a freshman, shot a 73 in the first round followed by a 72 in the second round to finish five over par with a score of 145.
The Cowboy Classic is played at the North Course at Talking Stick which is 7,133 yards and par 70.
Tournament play continues today.
