RAPID CITY - Eddie Kirchoff of Gillette, Wyo., and Mike Stadel of Rapid City finished one-two in the Colorado Late Model Association's 2007 point standings.

Kirchoff won the CLMA's Fall Classic last Saturday night at the quarter-mile I-76 Speedway in Fort Morgan, Colo., to clinch the title.

The season-ending victory was Kirchoff's fifth CLMA feature win of the year. His list of wins included the May 11 series stop at Black Hills Speedway, and at his home track, Gillette Thunder Speedway on Aug. 4.

Kirchoff also aced the series opener in Fort Morgan on April 22, and a rain-delayed event at BHS on Aug. 25.

Stadel won three CLMA features to earn his runner-up points finish, including May 12 (Gillette), June 30 (Fort Morgan) and Sept. 25 (Rapid City).

Stadel also finished third at Gallatin Speedway's Big Sky Nationals in Belgrade. Mont., on Sept 8. Stadel is a two-time winner of that event.
