RAPID CITY - Two players scored in double figures as Edgemont came from behind to win a hard fought boys basketball battle against Rapid City Christian 48-44 on Tuesday.
The Moguls trailed through three quarters but outscored the Comets 21-13 in the final stanza to pick up the win.
Arron Mower led Edgemont in scoring with 16 points and Josh Barker added 12 points.
Richard Stecher finished with a double-double for the Comets, scoring 24 points and grabbing 12 rebounds.
Edgemont (6-10) hosts Hay Springs, Neb., on Saturday and Rapid City Christian (4-8) travels to Murdo to face Jones County on Thursday.
Kadoka Area 51, Bennett County 31
KADOKA - Bennett County never got its offense untracked as Kadoka Area downed the Warriors 51-31 in a Western Great Plains Conference game.
Carter Uhlir scored 20 points and Bryer Jones added 10 for the Kougars in the victory.
Bennett County scored three points in the first quarter and six in the second as they trailed 23-6 at the break.
Chase Kieffe and James Flye scored eight points each for the Coyotes.
Kadoka Area (10-3) takes on Crazy in Wamblee on Friday while Bennett County (6-8) hosts Valentine, Neb. on Saturday.
Todd County 62, Stanley County 40
MISSION - Four players scored in double figures as No. 8-ranked Todd County beat Stanley County 62-40 in Big Dakota Conference boys basketball action Tuesday night.
Todd County jumped out to a 14-8 first quarter lead and never looked back en route to the 22 point victory.
Jordan His Law paced the Falcons with 16 points. Gunner Krogman and Mark DuBray scored 15 points each and Canku One Star added 10 points.
Trevor Lopour finished with 11 points to lead the Buffaloes.
Todd County (13-1, 4-0 BDC) travels to Pine Ridge to face the No. 1-ranked Red Cloud on Thursday, and Stanley County will meet Lyman in Presho on Friday.
Lyman 66, Gregory 58
GREGORY - Lyman knocked off Gregory 66-58 as Lex Moore and Zane Abrahamson combined for 33 points in the Raider victory.
"The second quarter was the difference," Gregory head coach Jeff Determan said.
Leading by one, Lyman outscored the Gorillas 17-10 to gain control of the contest.
"It was a well-played game by both teams," Determan said. "We just couldn't get out of hole we dug for ourselves."
Four Gorillas scores in double figures as Jake Hahne netted 15, Bo Bearshield had 14, Alex Chocholousek 13 and Luke Whalen added 12.
Leeland O'Dell added 12 for the winners who shot 66 percent from the floor as Lyman connected on 27-of-41 field goal attempts.
Gregory (5-8) will host Parkston and Lyman (7-6) will take on Stanley County at home in Friday games.
Sully Buttes 55, Jones Co. 50
ONIDA - Jones County gave No. 5 Class B Sully Buttes all it could handle before the home-standing Chargers prevailed 55-50.
Zach Merwin of Sully Buttes led all scorers with 26 points, while Spencer Yackley contributed nine points, eight rebounds and six blocks in the win.
Jones County went on a 13-6 run in the third quarter to put the Coyotes up by four, 37-33 as the fourth quarter began.
Austin Koester scored 22 points to lead Jones County.
Both teams will be in action on Thursday as Sully Buttes (12-2) travels to Gettysburg and Jones County (9-5) will host Rapid City Christian.
Pine Ridge 66, St. Francis 55
PINE RIDGE - Pine Ridge defeated St. Francis 66-55 as Stan Brewer and Roman Leftwich scored 18 points each in the Thorpes win.
Tim Little Shield led all scorers with 25 points and rebounders with 13 for the Warriors.
St. Francis (3-10) will travel to Chamberlain on Friday and Pine Ridge will play Bennett County on Tuesday in Martin.
GIRLS GAMES
Sully Buttes 82, Jones County 31
ONIDA - Alexis Yackley paved the way for the Chargers with 22 points as No. 3 Sully Buttes disposed of Jones County 82-31.
In all, five Sully Buttes players scored in double figures as Erica Guthmiller had 13, Kylee Lamb netted 11 and Elizabeth Lamb and Hannah Handcock added 10 apiece for the winners.
The Chargers bolted out to a 25-4 lead after one quarter and cruised to their 15th win in 16 tries.

Harding County 54, Sundance 36
SUNDANCE, Wyo. - Harding County held Sundance to two second-quarter points as the Ranchers pulled away for a 54-36 win in non-conference girls basketball action Tuesday.
Harding County led 13-11 after the first quarter and pulled ahead 29-13 by halftime by outscoring the Bulldogs 16-2 in the second quarter.
Four Ranchers scored in double figures. Amanda Jenson and Joey Painter scored 11 points each. Kristi Slaba and Samantha Jensen chipped in 10 apiece.
Kylie Hughes led Sundance with 10 points.
Mobridge 45, Selby Area 37
SELBY - Mobridge only had three players score, but the Tigers made the most of their points in a 45-37 defeat of Selby Area in girls basketball action Tuesday.
Caitlin Friesz tossed in a game-high 21 points, Maddie Frederick followed with 13 and Erin Rabenberg had 11 to account for all of Mobridge's scoring.
Tarelle Nash Keller knocked down a 3-pointer and finished with a team-high 11 points to lead Selby Area.
Philip 56, Faith 55
PHILIP - Philip rallied late to spill Faith 56-55 in a non-conference game played on Tuesday.
The Lady Longhorns led 45-40 heading into the final stanza but only scored 10 points in the final eight minutes.
Marissa Mann scored 17 and Tylissa Fitch added 11 to lead the Scotties.
Brianna Lemmel had a stellar 33 point game but no other Faith player had more than seven as the visitors came up just short.
Philip (7-6) will host Lyman on Thursday and Faith (6-9) will take part in the West River Tourney on Thursday in Newell.
Todd County 62, Stanley County 52
MISSION - Todd County had three players score in double figures as the Lady Falcons upset No. 9-ranked Stanley County 62-52 in a Big Dakota Conference girls basketball matchup Tuesday night.
"Our outside shooting and zone defense were the keys to our win," said Todd County head coach Bob Boyd Jr. "It was a total team effort and it was nice to get a big victory at home."
The Lady Falcons were led in scoring by Auriah Prue with 12 points, followed by Shelby Hunger and Christine Crow Eagle with 10 points each.
Stanley County's Kelsey Harson led all scorers with 14 points and Lindsey Rogers added 11 points.
Todd County (9-7, 2-2 BDC) travels to Chamberlain on Thursday and Stanley County (12-4) travels to Presho to face Lyman on Friday.
Pine Ridge 69, St. Francis 59
PINE RIDGE - No. 6 Pine Ridge kept on the winning track with a 69-59 win over St. Francis in a West River Conference game on Tuesday.
Saadia Tasso led the Lady Thorpes with 20 points. Sophia Janis added 19 and Keisha Brewer added a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds in the win.
St. Francis was led by Kali Brave's game-high 31 points. Marci Rodriquez added 19 for the Lady Warriors.
Pine Ridge (12-1) will host No. 4 Bennett County on Thursday and St. Francis (3-10) hosts Crow Creek on Friday.
