Baseball: Trojans score 11 runs, advance to play Angels

RAPID CITY - Myles Huether tossed a four-hitter and George Ceremuga went 4-for-5 at the plate with a home run leading the Trojans to an 11-1 rout of the Handcrafted A's on Wednesday night in the second game of the Black Hills Amateur League city baseball tournament at McKeague Field.

Huether went the distance in a game called after seven innings because of the 10-run rule. Three Trojans tallied 19 hits.

Eric Sykora was 3-for-4, Josh Nolan was 3-for-5 with 3 RBI, Nate Watson was 2-for-4 with an RBI, Zac Zandstra was 3-for-5 with an RBI and Steve Guy was 2-for-4 with an RBI.

Colin Hofer took the loss for the A's.

Game 3 of the city tournament is tonight at McKeague Field and features the Trojans taking on the Angels, 10-6 winners over the Drillers Tuesday night.
