Josh Hull's two-hit shutout propelled Las Vegas, Nev., to a 7-0 victory over West Warwick, R.I., on Friday morning at the Black Hills Community Bank Firecracker Tournament.
Hull struck out four, walked three and took a no-hitter into the fifth.
Durango scored two in the first, and led 3-0 before breaking it open with one in the fifth and three in the sixth.
Zac Hollenback went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBI and three runs scored to lead Las Vegas. Billy Richardson added a single and a double for Durango.
Rich Lizotte doubled for West Warwick.
Coon Rapids 17, Missoula 11
Not even the rain could cool the bats of Coon Rapids, Minn., and Missoula, Mont.
Despite a 35-minute rain delay, Coon Rapids won an offensive showcase, 17-11, on Friday afternoon.
Each team had 12 hits, but Coon Rapids had a pair of three-run home runs, and used a nine-run third inning to take a lead it would not relinquish.
Devin Croal and Mike Latta hit homers for the Minnesotans Tony Remund and Jeremy Oakley led the way with two hits each.
Sam Sopko went 3-for-5 with four RBI, Brody Miller had two doubles and two RBI and Robby King also had two hits for Missoula.
Cheyenne 8, Rocky Mountain 0
Cheyenne wasted little time in ruining Rocky Mountain's perfect tournament record
Post 6 routed the team from Fort Collins, 8-0, in five innings Friday afternoon at the Black Hills Community Bank Firecracker Tournament.
The bottom four hitters in the Cheyenne order went 7-for-11, as Luke Haugh, Andrew Fanning and Cody Farrell all had two hits.
Colby Harrison shutout the Lobos, allowing five hits in the shortened victory.
Marco Gonzalez had two hits for Rocky Mountain.
Merced 7, Cheyenne 6
Merced, Calif., scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning, rallying for a 7-6 win over Cheyenne, Wyo., on Friday night.
Garrett Boothe's sacrifice fly tied the game in the seventh, and the Volunteers won it when Cheyenne misplayed Peter Sandino's groundball.
Merced only managed five hits as both Boothe and Matt Voris doubled.
Brandon Nimmo went 3-for-4 with a double and Ty Lain had two hits for Cheyenne.
The win is Merced's fourth straight in the tournament, after an opening day loss to tournament leader Rocky Mountain.
