The South Dakota Basketball Coaches Association will host its 12th Annual Fall Clinic in Sioux Falls on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1 at the Ramkota Inn.
Featured speakers for the event will be our championship coaches from the 2008-2009 season, area college coaches and Hall of Famers Burnell Glanzer, Gary Munsen and Jim Trett.

SDSU to host fall wrestling clinic
The South Dakota State wrestling team hosts its fall wrestling clinic and wrestle-offs Oct. 31 at Frost Arena, featuring two-time All-American Ty Eustice as the keynote instructor.
Registration for the clinic begins at 8 a.m. with instruction starting at 9 a.m. All area athletes and coaches are invited. Early registration costs $45 for coaches and $20 for athletes. Registration will also be accepted the day of the event.
Participants receive a free T-shirt, lunch provided by Burger King and admission to the SDSU wrestle-off.
The SDSU wrestle-off takes place at noon MDT, and features current Jackrabbit wrestlers battling for a starting role in the 2009-10 squad. The wrestle-off is free and open to the public.
Eustice, a native of Blue Earth, Minn., was a four-time national qualifier and a two-time All-American. He placed fifth and second at the Division I National Championship at 149 pounds in 2005 and 2006, respectively. He was also a 100-match winner from 2002-06 and was a two-time team captain.
Kids get in free at CSC football game
In conjunction with the NCAA, Chadron State College is hosting its inaugural "Take A Kid To The Game" this Saturday when the Eagles play Fort Lewis in a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference game at Elliott Field.
Kickoff is set for noon.
Children, ages 14 and younger accompanied by a paying adult, will receive a free ticket to watch the game. Cost for tickets is $8 for adults and $5 for students and seniors 60 and older.
Tickets can be purchased at the gate, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Saturday.
