BELLE FOURCHE - Rachel Sacrison shot a 44 to earn medalist honors at a chilly Belle Fourche Quadrangular on Tuesday.
"This early in the season, it's nice to get in the matches when you can," Belle Fourche coach Clark Gusso said. "It was chilly, and the wind was out of the east."
Sacrison was the top performer on a Bronc team that tallied 188 to top the team standings. Custer finished in second with 219, while Hot Springs took third with 230.
"I'm pleased with how my girls are striking the ball," Gusso said. We've got most of the season left. I'm very pleased with our performance."
Belle Fourche's Cordelia Bowman took second with 45. Teammate Ashley Watson and Custer's Claire Carson each followed with 49.
Schulyer Wetzel shot 50 to lead Hot Springs.
Belle Fourche and Douglas will play in the St. Thomas More Invitational at the Elks Golf Course on Thursday, and Custer travels to Hot Springs for dual action.
