The Philip Scotties rolled to a 25-2, 25-8, 25-13 volleyball win over the home-standing Dupree Tigers on Saturday.
Jazmyn Schrempp led the Tiger offense with five set assists. Callie Henderson had five kills.
Statistics for Philip were not available.
Philip (17-2) travels to Wall on Thursday. Dupree (1-12) hosts McLaughlin on Tuesday.
Mitchell 3, Douglas 1: Mitchell downed Douglas in a non-conference volleyball match Saturday night at Whitehead Auditorium at Box Elder. The Kernels from the Eastern South Dakota Conference prevailed 25-23, 26-24, 16-25, 25-20.
"It was a good match," said Douglas head coach Jeff Nugent. "We were disappointed in the final outcome, but overall we played fairly well, those first games could have gone either way."
Chris Scheler put down 13 kills for Douglas and recorded 20 digs as did Maranda Baragar. Chelsea Edwards had five of the Pats' 10 service aces in the match.
Douglas (10-7 overall, and 7-0 in the BHC) returns to conference play when they travel to Belle Fourche on Tuesday to play the Broncs.
Big Horn, Wyo., 3, Sundance, Wyo., 1: Big Horn came from behind to record a win over Sundance 22-25, 25-10, 25-14, 25-17 in a 2A Northeast Conference Wyoming volleyball match Saturday.
Kelly O'Connor led the Bulldogs with 11 kills and 15 assists. Sheena Peplow made 15 digs and Laramie Noyce added 14 for the defense.
Sundance (13-15 overall) plays Tongue River on Saturday and Big Horn (14-3) takes on Wright.
