DICKINSON, N.D. - Brothers Justin and Stanton Schlecht of Whitewood are both ranked in the latest NAIA wrestling rankings, as is their Dickinson State team.
Justin Schlecht, a senior, is ranked No. 1 at 197 pounds. He is a two-time national champion and was named NAIA National Wrestler of the Year in 2007.
Stanton Schlecht, a junior, is ranked No. 5 at 174 pounds. He earned All-American honors after finishing eighth at nationals in 2007.
Dickinson State is ranked fifth in the top 25 team rankings. Jamestown, N.D., is No. 14.
Three other Blue Hawks are ranked in the third wrestling ranking of the season - Cory Johnston, No. 4, 125 pounds; Eli Zuniga, No. 3, 133; and Jeremiah Toavs, No. 6, 184.
