RAPID CITY - The City of Rapid City will be receiving a land donation of 80 acres from Doyle Estes, a local businessperson today at 4 p.m. at the Sioux Park Pavilion.

This land has been designated for the Rapid City Soccer-Sports Complex.

Soccer Rapid City is the umbrella organization for all of the Soccer organizations in the City including Rapid City Youth Soccer League, Rushmore Soccer Club, and the college and adult leagues totaling 3,000 members.

Soccer Rapid City is overseeing the construction of this complex and with the donation of this land; the complex will now have a home.

Brian Pitts, Executive Director of the Rapid City/Sport Complex, said, "This land is an incredible gift to the city of Rapid City and its soccer community. The complex will provide our local soccer organizations with a great location to host local, regional and national events in a much needed community park."

The public is welcome to attend the presentation.
