ORLANDO, Fla. - Rapid City Central graduate Ashley Waltman won her No. 4 singles match, helping the University of South Dakota women's tennis team defeat Illinois Wesleyan, 9-0, Friday in Orlando.

Waltman defeated Colleen McShane in straight sets, 6-1, 6-1.

Pierre's Jessica Burchill also won her singles match against Jenna Rowland, 8-4.

In doubles action, Waltman and Melanie Rockne teamed up to defeat McShane and Sarah Wilson, 8-1.

The win helped the Coyote's end a two match losing streak and improve to 14-6 on the season.
