Six Rapid City football players and three each from Sturgis and Spearfish were named to the all-Greater Dakota Conference football team which was released on Monday.
Rapid City Central quarterback Will Mechling, wide receiver Dimitri Fahey and lineman Steve Dolan were named to the team along with Rapid City Stevens linebacker Kyle Chapman, strong safety Jeff Moran and running back Kolton Emery.
Sturgis senior safety Seth Mulvehill, lineman Mark Flottmeyer and sophomore running back Clint Wilson and Spearfish running back Jordan Johnson, wide receiver Gavin Cordell and lineman Nick Olson also were named to the team, which was selected by the conference coaches.
Sioux Falls Lincoln's Aaron Beavers was named the conference's coach of the year.
