CHADRON, Neb. - The Chadron State football team's spring game has been moved to March 29.
The game, originally scheduled for Saturday, was moved to a later date so the Eagles could utilize the full 15 practices they're allotted.
The Eagles, who still have five practices remaining, are also scheduling a scrimmage at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Elliott Field.
The spring game, which pits the red team against the white team, will kick off at 11 a.m.
The Chadron State coaching staff will hold a draft before the game to determine the team members.
New to the Spring Game this year will be crowd participation. For $10, a fan can call one play during the game. CSC head coach Bill O'Boyle said he and the other coaches are thinking of other ways to involve the fans.
A picnic will be hosted by the Chadron State football team after the game.
