RAPID CITY - St. Thomas More picked up a win at its own Invitational on Thursday at the Hart Ranch Golf Course as the Cavaliers shot a 216 to edge Red Cloud by seven strokes.
Custer finished in third place with 228 strokes followed by Bennett County with 311. Douglas competed in the invite but did not have enough team members to field a full team.
Red Cloud's Shelby Ross shot a 44 to claim individual honors on the day for the Crusaders.
More's Danielle Kerr had a 45 while teammate Megan Byrum had a 49.
Custer's Claire Carson had a 47 to pace the Wildcats, while Billie Jean Gundlach led the Warriors with a low score of 69.
Brooke Schafer had a 56 to lead the Patriots.
