For the fifth-consecutive year, the South Dakota School of Mines football program will be provided a unique all-access live streaming broadcast on Facebook Live Wednesday during National Signing Day.

Mines head coach Zach Tinker and the rest of coaching staff will be offering a behind-the-scenes look as the Hardrocker coaching staff receives each 2018 prospective student's Letter of Intent to become a member of the Hardrocker football team.

An interactive web page will also be available at which will give Hardrocker fans all sorts of SD Mines football information about all the new recruits as well as news articles, the new 2018 schedule, video highlights and much more Hardrocker related material.

The Mines athletic communications department will be streaming coverage of the event from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. with cameras set up in the football "War Room" where fans will be able to see the Hardrocker coaching staff as they conduct their daily meetings, work the phones and check the fax machine as they prepare for the 2018  recruiting class.

Along with live cameras, the Mines coaches will also be announcing each new member of the Hardrocker football team and show their high school highlights as each prospects commits, as well as conduct interviews about past and future seasons and show other football video highlights that will be aired throughout the day.

"As a football staff, we love to interact with our fans as much as we can and what better way to accomplish that than with an all-access internet pass," Tinker said. "Our coaching staff has worked very hard to bring in some talented athletes to our program. National Signing Day is a time when we get to see all that hard work pay off."

The event will be topped off with 3 p.m. press conference to officially announce all the signees in the Christensen Hall of Fame Room at the King Center. The press conference will also be streamed live. The public is welcome to attend.

Following the live stream show and the press conference, the Hardrocker coaching staff will be hosting a to a National Signing Day party at Buffalo Wild Wings in Rapid City at 4:30 p.m. The public is welcome to attend.

BHSU to hold signing day press conference

Black Hills State University head football coach John Reiners has announced plans for the 2018 National Signing Day to officially introduce the newest group of Yellow Jacket football players on Wednesday.

Throughout the day, be sure to check for all the information on new Yellow Jacket commits. A special landing page will be available and updated as each student-athlete signs their National Letter of Intent.

At 5 p.m. the community is invited to the Joy (Proctor) Krautschun Alumni/Foundation Welcome Center for a social gathering where beverages and hors d'oeuvres will be served. At 5:30 p.m., John Reiners will address the media and fans of Yellow Jacket athletics to officially announce the Yellow Jacket signees.

The Joy Center is located at 1531 St. Joseph St., to the south of Lyle Hare Stadium on the campus of Black Hills State University.
