The Rushmore Thunder had a perfect weekend against the Oahe Capitals and Watertown Lakers on the road.
Rushmore topped Oahe 11-0 Friday and Watertown 5-4 Saturday and 7-3 Sunday.
Brian Petereit, Ryan Nolan and Derrick Brown scored two goals Friday, and Petereit scored six goals on the weekend.
Nolan also had three goals as well as Gavin Gary and Zach Bender. Brown and Jacob Lindblom had two goals while MacIntyre Braun, Austin Stiles, Blake Devries and Grant Wolthius notched a goal.
Nearly every member of the Thunder recorded an assist over the weekend, with Scott Kendrick, Gary, Lindblom, Camden Nayman, Parker Sundby and Wolthius notched one assist. Brown, Devries, Stiles and Seth Dikoff had two.
Petereit had four while Nolan and Bender had five.
John Young recorded 74 saves over the weekend with 13 Friday, 33 on Saturday and 28 on Sunday.
The Thunder are now 13-1-1 with 27 points and are first in the South Dakota Amateur Hockey Association standings. Rushmore takes on Huron to end the regular season Feb. 17 and 18.
