What part of that description are you questioning? Allred is a powerhouse attorney. That she is a camera hog has been well established. Among her clients are Tiger Woods' former mistress (who didn't sue until after she found out she wasn't the only one); Scott Peterson's mistress; The Terminator's mistress (who waited twelve years to sue). So it must be the porn stars. Remember the Anthony Weiner (D-NY) scandel? Who was there with her former porn star client?

Maybe your selective memory doesn't recall this news item at the time: "Porn star Ginger Lee said Wednesday that disgraced Rep. Anthony Weiner asked her to lie about their online relationship, and he should resign."

"At a news conference in New York with her attorney, Gloria Allred, Lee said Weiner asked her during a phone conversation that took place on June 2 to lie when questioned publicly about the contacts."

archiejones, I put your most recent cut and paste into a search engine. What exactly is stormfront.org? It's interesting that the taxes Buffett pays are at the capital gains rate, which is lower than the rate for those earning an even lower amount thru non-investment income (that would be work). Although he's at one end of scale and you're at the other, he's just like you in that he wants someone else's taxes raised, but not his.

Myname said: "To Common Sense - Thank you!! It is ironic that Nebraska is the state complaining about a shortage in fuel...and they are opposing the pipeline. Hmmm!!! "

It's also ironic that the "progressives" that are screaming "pass the jobs bill, we need jobs," are also against building the pipeline.

0bama's decision to cause the delay was a political one. 0bama will continue to blame HIS high unemployment numbers (20,000 jobs related to the pipeline) on the Republicans and at the same time he'll keep campaign money flowing to him from the enviromental donors/bundlers until after the election. Meanwhile they will build the pipeline across Canada and the oil will be shipped to China.

Thank you archiejones for your cut and paste which is a sterling example of exactly what Cal Thomas was referring to in his column about the return of the politics of personal destruction. Well done!

spearfishgal - "Simply a return to the policies that allowed the poor and middle class to have the opportunity to climb the success ladder we had in the most recent past."

You are guaranteed equal opportunties - not equal outcomes. The outcomes are the results of what each individual does with those opportunities.

archiejones - "The teapubs are also looking for significant cuts to entitlement programs, including Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security."

I'll defer to Ronald Reagan on this one: "Well, the trouble with our liberal friends is not that they are ignorant, but that they know so much that isn’t so."

How many permantent jobs did 0bama "create" with $500+ million of the taxpayers money? Exactly none. How much of that $500+ million taxpayers money was funneled back to 0bama campaign donors/bundlers that "invested" in Solyndra? $500+ million.

"...the South Dakota Highway patrolman who investigated the accident wrote three separate reports. In the first, he said Finley was driving, but later amended his report to place Engesser behind the wheel."

So where does Mr. Engesser go to get the 10 years of his life back he lost due to an "amended" report and bad attorney?
