Sure can't be rich people because per you guys he only cares about the poor and doesn't want to be beholden to the rich guys. Must of taken a lot of welfare checks to make that Billion Dollars total."
That is better than you teapubs motto of being beholden to the rich guys, treating corporations as people and not caring about the poor.

There is a difference there.I've figured out why the left panders to the poor. Cheap votes, and it is easy for them to keep them on the take with their "keep'm poor" policies."
Just like Romney, some on the board are also clueless and are showing their true colors with their lack of empathy and understanding of how most Americans are living. Romney’s not caring about the poor statement was cold, uncaring, and damning, but the fact that he doesn’t even know how most of the people in the country he wants to lead live, makes him completely unsuited for the presidency. The absurdity of a person who doesn’t know how many poor and low income Americans there are and why they may be poor and who wants voters to believe that he is the candidate that can restore economic prosperity is only topped by the fact that the teapubs are seriously considering nominating this candidate to be their nominee. Corporations may be people to you teapubs and Mitt Romney, but it seems that poor and low income Americans aren’t.

Democrats don’t have to work to paint a negative picture of Mitt Romney. He is doing it for them.

Captain Whamo said: "It's too bad facts are scary. Brace yourself, here's another epic fail: real disposable personal income under President Obama has declined. Of the last nine presidents, Obama is the only one where income has declined over his term. You conveniently forgot that revenue to the federal government nearly doubled under President Reagan. The debt went up under Reagan but at least unemployment dropped to 5.4%. The inflation rate declined from 10% to 4%.What have we gotten for the $5 trillion of new debt under Obama?"
Reagan enacted a major tax cut his first year in office and government revenue dropped off precipitously. Despite the conservative myth that tax cuts somehow increase revenue, the government went deeper into debt and Reagan had to raise taxes just a year after he enacted his tax cut. Despite ten more tax hikes on everything from gasoline to corporate income, Reagan was never able to get the deficit under control. He raised taxes in seven of his eight years in office, including four times in just two years. Unemployment soared after Reagan’s 1981 tax cuts. Unemployment jumped to 10.8 percent after Reagan enacted his much-touted tax cut, and it took years for the rate to get back down to its previous level. Meanwhile, income inequality exploded. Despite the myth that Reagan presided over an era of unmatched economic boom for all Americans, Reagan disproportionately taxed the poor and middle class, but the economic growth of the 1980′s did little help them. Since 1980, median household income has risen only 30 percent, adjusted for inflation, while average incomes at the top have tripled or quadrupled. Reagan fought a proxy war with the Soviet Union by training, arming, equipping, and funding Islamist mujahidin fighters in Afghanistan. Reagan funneled billions of dollars, along with top-secret intelligence and sophisticated weaponry to these fighters through the Pakistani intelligence service. The Talbian and Osama Bin Laden — remember him — emerged from these mujahidin groups Reagan helped create, and U.S. policy towards Pakistan remains strained because of the intelligence services’ close relations to these fighters. In fact, Reagan’s decision to continue the proxy war after the Soviets were willing to retreat played a direct role in Bin Laden’s ascendancy. Conservatives seem to be in such denial about the less flattering aspects of Reagan; it sometimes appears as if they genuinely don’t know the truth of his legacy.

Induced ignorance has the same effect as inherent stupidity, and that is why the extreme Right cultivates it.

Since every American aged birth to death will, by law, be forced to have it. Or risk going to prison. So they will start charging extremely higher rates for everyone; since the "high risk" people will be using it a lot more then the average person. And the insurance companies don't want to loose money on those people. So they'll make everyone else pay for the "high risk" clients medical needs with much higher premiums. Then some people will spend their money on health insurance instead of food, housing, things their kids need for school, etc. And then need government assistance to pay for those kind of things. I don't think America needs socialized medicine. Nor do I think that obama care is going to even start to solve this countries health care system. All it's going to do is make the poor, poorer. And make the government help more people then it already does. "
