I agree with Poplicola, what credentials does he have? He is definitely not George Will or Robert Novak by no means. He arguments are so right sided that it spins like the second hand on a clock. But, he has found a niche with the people who look only through their right eye and seems to think that "all" of the readers of the "Righted" City Journal care with what he has to say.

@sdbigdog-
Why should private businesses pay for something that they had no control over? The key word is "private". Businesses, such as bars and casinos are private businesses in a public setting. I am not a smoker but am sick of government intrusion in the lives of people. If you don't want cancer, don't smoke or be around those who smoke. I'm sorry if you enjoy going to casinos and bars but you have to weigh the possibility that if the establishment allows people who smoke that there is a good chance that you will inhale secondhand smoke. It's a personal choice.

That's what we need... more unenforceable laws. What next?? Management in the cockpit monitoring these pilots? One incident, one bad judgement. The pilots who caused the havoc received what they deserved. Do we really need more laws?

This is the most ridiculous of all fights the natives could take on. There is no insult to the UND name and logo. Why was this even considered letting the tribe make the choice here. They are a sovereign nation who should have no say in the dealing outside the reservation and.
As a Native American myself, I find this a stupid argument to pursue. This will set any reconciliation efforts back 40 years. The people of North Dakota and the United States should take a stand in this fight and also have a vote. I would be glad to vote my opposition to this since the reservation sits on the border of North Dakota and South Dakota

The Northern Hills Ranger District recently signed a participating agreement with Lawrence County to reduce the mountain pine beetle epidemic in the Northern Hills.
Rush beat reporter, Jim Holland, discusses recent Rapid City Rush games as well as a look forward. John Hess joins Holland to talk about Pink at the Rink in this webisode of Two-Minute Minors.
A Bosnian man who has been living in a cave for a number of years is now struggling to deal with a harsh winter but determined to stay in his natural dwelling. (Feb. 8)
