Join Us for a Project Tour! with Dream Design International, Inc. At Dream Design, we have 10 large-scale projects running in Rapid City alone ranging from just a few acres to over 700 acres each. Each of these projects are in varying stages of planning, design, and construction, keeping hundreds of engineers, architects, contractors, and subs up and running at all times. With so much in the works, things change FAST around here, especially in the mild winter we’ve had until now. We were able to sprint longer and harder and accomplish even more as crews could be moving full speed even though we were deep into January. The best way to really get a handle on the projects at Dream Design is to hop in the truck with Hani and Kyle and drive the project tour – getting the real time narrative to see what’s coming, what stage of development we’re in, what are the project challenges, and what awesome new services a project is able to bring to the area. Usually the project tour is reserved for new clients who drive the tour to try to find them a new space, out of town businesses looking to invest in Rapid City, or local leaders who want to see how Rapid City is growing and changing. In the midst of COVID this year, those project tours are a lot more infrequent and a bit more tricky to pull off, so we’ve pulled together a VIRTUAL project tour, so now, we can bring the project tour TO YOU. It’s not quite the same excitement as getting to take down the fence and drive up and over the hill, off-roading to see where future roads and homes and businesses WILL be, but we hope the footage will help you get a feel for what we’re up to and how you can be a part of it. We love being a part of helping this City grow and love seeing how new homes fit the perfect need or a new commercial complex delivers the perfect office suite. Dakota Market Square KC Lofts East Blvd + Kansas City Street The Kansas City Street Lofts is a four story complex coming to the corner of Kansas City Street and East Boulevard, near the main post office. The KC Lofts will feature main floor commercial, office, and retail suites and three stories of 1-2 bedroom residential apartments. Construction is underway with move-in anticipated June 2021. Two commercial suites of 2,358 and 1,758 sqft remain available. Scan the code to view the KC Lofts Project Tour Video: Johnson Ranch Cambell Street + East North Elk Vale + Highway 44 Dakota Market Square is a 185,000 sqft commercial complex on the corner of Cambell Street and East North, one of Rapid City’s busiest intersections. The Johnson Ranch Subdivision off Elk Vale and Highway 44 in Southeast Rapid City features 77 affordable homes, two non-profits and essential services, and 7 acres of commercial land. Commercial suites still available from 2,000 - 75,000 sqft, including space at a new strip mall along East North. Grading on 5.10 acres is nearly complete, bringing much needed additional housing stock to the area. Phase 2 renovations are underway with interior demo and remodel on the Kmart building beginning last week! Only 2 commercial lots remain - at 2.03 and 2.64 acres - and then the entire Johnson Ranch project will be complete! Scan the code to view the DMS Scan the code for the Johnson Project Tour Video: Ranch Project Tour Video: Orchard Meadows Scotland Hills Elk Vale + Highway 44 At the end of Minnesota off 5th 161 Acres off Elk Vale and Highway 44, the Orchard Meadows subdivision features ample green space and walking trails, access to the Elks Golf Course, and an easy drive to many of Rapid City’s favorite amenities. Our Scotland Hills subdivision is a 119 acre residential project at the end of Minnesota Street off 5th, extending to Highway 16. Orchard Meadows features 100 single-family homes, over 120 townhomes, Class A apartments, and numerous commercial tenants. Final single family homes and apartments now under construction. The area features gorgeous City and canyon views, giving that elusive feeling of being tucked away in the Hills - yet having the convenience of being only 5 minutes from Monument Health and the Walmart on Stumer. All but six lots have been reserved and lots will be ready for home construction by July 1, 2021.
