RESOLUTION NO. 2020-060 A RESOLUTION AMENDING CERTAIN FEES TO BE CHARGED IN 2020 FOR VARIOUS LICENSES, PERMITS AND APPLICATIONS. WHEREAS, the City charges fees for various licenses, permits and applications to cover its administrative costs; and WHEREAS, in the past the City has generally adopted fees for licenses, permits and applications by ordinance; and WHEREAS, on May 18, 2015, the Common Council adopted Resolution No. 2015-50 setting forth a fee schedule intended to replicate and supplement the fees discussed in the ordinances; and WHEREAS, Resolution No. 2015-50 consolidates the information on fees charged by the City in one location, to make it easier to track and change the fees when they become insufficient to cover the City’s administrative costs; and WHEREAS, on multiple occasions the Common Council has adopted resolutions to Amend and/or Add Fees to the City Fee Schedules; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds it to be in the best interests of the City and its citizens to adopt an updated comprehensive fee resolution.
