Black Hills State University opened its 19th annual Alumni Art Show this week. The show includes 34 individual artists’ work with combinations from sculpture and painting to unique, forged metal pieces, according to a release from BHSU.

The South Dakota Community Foundation (SDCF) recently awarded Allied Arts, St. Francis Mission Foundation and the Rapid City Arts Council each with a $10,000 Community Innovation Grant. Partnership Rapid City received a $10,000 South Dakota Fund Grant as well.
Black Hills State University recently selected Carol Lundberg to serve as the 2015 Swarm Days Parade Marshal, an honor acknowledging Lundberg’s support of the university and the Spearfish community she now calls home.
