Fred Cuba of Hastings, Neb., drinks a beer while watching the Pappy Hoel Classic races at the Meade County Fairgrounds with his dog Lucky Louie Tuesday afternoon. This is Cuba's 43rd time at the Sturgis motorcycle rally and Louie's seventh.

Not a bad way to spend the afternoon at the Pappy Hoel Classic races. A beer in one hand and man's best friend at your side.

Fred Cuba of Hastings, Neb., has been coming to the rally for 43 years and his bulldog, Lucky Louie, has tagged along for all seven years of his life. Louie even gets to ride in a sidecar on one of Cuba's bikes.

Cuba owns successful motorcycle shop and is a large name in the local motorcycle industry but it was Louie that was grabbing the attention of more than a few ladies at the races on Tuesday.

When the weather got hot, Louie had a kiddie pool to take a dip in.  Lucky guy.
