STURGIS | As of 8 a.m. Friday, the City of Sturgis had issued 510 temporary vendor licenses. This compares to 528 at the same time last year.

• Sturgis Motorcycle Expo opens for vending 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. daily.

• The Providence Dancing Cop will be assisting pedestrians and directing traffic at Main and Junction starting on Saturday. Tony is from RI and he has made his way to Sturgis just for the Rally. • Main Street Zip Line is scheduled to begin – it launches at Main and Junction and flies east down Main Street to the end of the 900 block.
