I grew up in Wyoming and will always call it home. So I was extremely pleased with getting to cover Wyoming Wednesday for the Sturgis motorcycle rally. 

The best part, I had never been close to Devils Tower National Monument. I have been all over the state but never that far reaching northeast corner. Tuesday night I had a plan to photograph the stars with the tower and maybe find a bike I could add into the image.

Those plans all failed when heavy rain and clouds set in all night. The next best thing was to wakeup with the sun and try to find a motorcyclist riding past the massive rock. I was lucky in finding one.
