Once it was up and running. an aluminum can crusher was quite a sight as is took loads of cans and compacted them into 25-pound briquettes. Keep Chadron Beautiful and Keep Alliance Beautiful hosted a joint recycling event Saturday afternoon, with many people donating recyclables and money for fuel to transport materials to the Alliance facility. A total 1,460 pounds was collected, and the next such event is Saturday, June 17.
