Chadron Juniors Cobie Bila makes a throw from the outfield against Ogallala this past weekend. The Juniors ended their season at the Area B7 tournament with a loss to Alliance on Sunday.

After fighting off elimination on Saturday by defeating Ogallala, the Chadron First National Bank North Platte Junior Nationals had their season come to an end on Sunday at the hands of Sidney, 12-2, at the B7 Area Tournament in Alliance.

Sidney brought in the first ten runs of the game in the first three innings before Chadron seized an opportunity in the bottom of the third to score their only two runs. Sidney would get those two runs back in the top of the fourth to win by mercy rule in the fifth.

Both teams collected eight hits on the day, but while Sidney's defense played mistake free, the Nationals committed five errors.

Sidney moved on in the tournament to face the loser of Gering and Alliance. The winner of that game advanced to the championship game on Tuesday.

The Chadron Juniors end their season 7-15.
