HOT SPRINGS – The Hot Springs High School Class of 1966 held their 50-year Class Reunion in Hot Springs, Friday and Saturday, Sept. 2-3.

According to Barb Donnell Highstreet, out of a class of 85 members, some 30 class members, along with their spouses, etc. participated. Of these, 17 went through the school system from 1st through 12th grades, she said.

Some elements of the reunion took place at Adam Heath’s Shaman Gallery, with entertainment provided by guitarist James Van Nyes from Rapid City. The food was light Mexican fare and was accompanied by hors d’oeuvres and sangria.

Classmates toured the school on Saturday morning, then enjoyed a barbeque under the stars at the Heath home. Many classmates hadn’t been together for 50 years.
