National Honor Society, Academic Letterwinners, Scholarship Recipients presented on May 10

HOT SPRINGS – Hot Springs High School held its annual Awards Night last Tuesday, May 10, where National Honor Society members were recognized and inducted, Academic Letterwinners were presented and scholarships were awarded.

Included in the National Honor Society portion of the evening, the following members were recognized: current members Bree Thompson (president), Amber Hulse (vice president), Alyssa Lockhart (secretary), Kyla Oster (treasurer), Andrea Norton (historian), Chase Palo (parliamentary), and Katherine Lane.

New members taking the oath and being inducted included: Abrianna Baca, Sarah Lane, Makenzie McNemar, Gillian Roda, Aspen Stover, Kali Hill, Abigail McHargue, Mit Patel, Shelby Roda and Kole Vollmer.

The National Honor Society sponsors are Valerie Sword and Stephanie Bailey.

Academic Letters, presented by HSHS Principal Mary Weiss, were as follows:

Fourth Year – Bengt Symstad, Bree Thompson.

Third Year – Baxter Boldon, Amber Hulse, Adam Nelson, Kali Hill, Alyssa Lockhart, Rylee Olstad, Samantha Pucket, Kole Vollmer.

Second Year – Charity Britain, Sarah Lane, Andrea Norton, Oliver Juhl, Makenzie McNemar, Ty Pulscher, Vanessa Yeoman Sawyers.

First Year – Josie Bogner, Bayley Ferebee, Thane Lockhart, Malory Oster, Mit Patel, Hayley Seegrist, Aspen Stover, Serenity Engel, Mary Lane, Diamond Miller, Madilyn Palo, Ashley Seegrist, Kaylen Stearns, Alyssa Wingler.

Following is a complete list of all the scholarships awarded to graduating seniors to help them as they further their education at institutions of higher learning:
