To the Editor:
I loved the headlines on the front page of the Rapid City Journal recently. “Details on Uranium mine still unclear.”
That is what most of the interveners have been raising such a fuss about – no clear facts. Not that I am going to call anyone wrong; even Mark Hollenbeck. Like I say to everyone; he’s doing a very good job doing what he is paid to do – sell uranium in situ leach mining to the people of South Dakota.
I do believe it is wrong, however, that one of the high schools in Rapid City had him ‘teach’ his sales pitch to their students, as facts on uranium. I hope the students are smarter than the teacher and do extensive research on it.
I also got a kick out of one of the letters to the editor; entitled “Powertech, DENR on same page,” where Harold Storsve said Mark Hollenbeck whines, so does Powertech’s Richard Clements.
I don’t believe any of the interveners have whined about anything. They usually state the facts of their investigations.

Such as Western Mining Action Network has set up Nov. 13, from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Pacific Time, to talk to a lawyer if you need information on legal issues around mining. Please RSVP at email@example.com. Contrary to Powertech’s lawyer Max Main, .org sites usually have very good researched answers and they are legal.
