Rosebud artist Mark Little Elk has an exhibition of his artwork through Jan. 14 at the Sioux Indian Museum in Rapid City.
The exhibition, which is free to the public, includes drawings of the likes of Sitting Bull and Crazy Horse, and combines traditional craftwork with more modern techniques, according to a press release.
Little Elk is an enrolled member of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe. He has worked with pencil and graphite drawing for about eight years, and recently began painting. This is the first exhibition of his artwork in either a museum or gallery.
The Sioux Indian is located in The Journey Museum, 222 New York St. For more information, call 394-6923.
