...A FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 415 PM MDT SUNDAY FOR OGLALA LAKOTA AND EASTERN PENNINGTON COUNTIES...

DOPPLER RADAR AND AUTOMATED RAIN GAUGES INDICATE AN AREA OF VERY HEAVY RAINFALL ACROSS THE WARNED AREA. THE HEAVY RAIN WILL CAUSE OVERLAND FLOODING AND FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE... CREEKS, TRIBUTARIES, AND SMALLER DRAINAGES FLOWING INTO THE BAD RIVER, CHEYENNE RIVER, AND WHITE RIVER, INCLUDING AMERICAN HORSE CREEK, COTTONWOOD CREEK, LAKE CREEK, PORCUPINE CREEK, SAGE CREEK, WHITE CLAY CREEK, AND WOUNDED KNEE CREEK, AND PORTIONS OF BADLANDS NATIONAL PARK.

ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF OVER AN INCH ARE POSSIBLE IN THE WARNED AREA.
