Fourteen young women from across the state will arrive in Hot Springs on June 19 to begin rehearsals for the 65th annual Miss South Dakota Pageant on June 25.
Preliminary competitions will be June 23 and 24, and the finals will be held June 25. The pageant theme is "Get Up and Dance."

Showtime is 7:00 p.m. June 23-2 at the Mueller Center in Hot Springs. A pageant parade will take place through downtown Hot Springs on Saturday at 10 a.m. The Miss South Dakota's Outstanding Teen Pageant will take place Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Mueller Center.
The new Miss South Dakota will go on to compete at the Miss America Pageant in Las Vegas in January 2012.
