When the event closed, the Next Big Thing team won first place and "Channel Four News" won second place and also best uniformed for their dress-up outfits for the competition.

Jeri Drabek said the top sportsmanship winners included Allyx Mattern of a Spearfish team for the women's award, and Belle Fourche native Keenan Justice won the men's sportsmanship award.

The Northern Lights club plans to use some of the funds raised in the event to help with pre-kindergarten vision screening this spring.
