A Nebraska man has pleaded not guilty to multiple child sex charges in Pennington County.

Tracy Idleman, 30, of Scottsbluff, Neb., is facing two counts of first-degree rape and one count of sexual contact with a child under 16. The assaults are alleged to have happened sometime between October 2014 and May 2016, when the female victim would have been between 4 and 6 years old, according to court records. 

First-degree rape carries a maximum penalty of life in prison; sexual contact with a child under 16, up to 15 years. Idleman is detained at the county jail in lieu of a $75,000 bail. He is scheduled to return to court July 27.
