Alejando Vazquez, also known as Alex "Tank" Gay, has been missing since October 2015. He was last seen near Kyle.

The family of a man who went missing on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation two years ago is seeking volunteers for a search today and Saturday.

Alejandro “Tank” Vazquez, 24, was last seen in October 2015 at his brother's mobile home near Kyle, where he was staying during a visit from Dodge City, Kan. He was born and grew up in Kyle. Multiple searches have since been conducted by Vazquez's family, friends and tribal and federal authorities.

Despite hoping that Vazquez is well, his father, Mario Vazquez Sr., thinks his son might no longer be alive and that foul play could have been involved in his disappearance.

His family is looking for horse riders and people with four-wheeled vehicles to help search areas around Kyle. On Saturday, they are meeting at Kyle's Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Hall at 10 a.m. People interested in participating today can call Misty Hernandez at 545-6386 for details.
