A motorcycle caught fire Wednesday afternoon in the downtown Rapid City parking ramp, according to authorities. 

The Rapid City Fire Department posted on social media at about 3:15 p.m. that firefighters were on scene at the parking ramp adjacent to Main Street Square. The motorcycle caught fire after a crash, according to the posts, and one person was being evaluated by emergency medical services on the scene.

Traffic on the parking ramp was restricted for a few minutes while emergency crews cleaned up the area, said city spokesman Darrell Shoemaker. 

No other information was immediately available.
