RAPID CITY | Christopher L. Sandstedt, 72, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2020.
Chris spent most of his life in Rapid City and his young adult life in Wyoming.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sandy and Jean Sandstedt; his son, Jim Sandstedt; and stepson, Tom Durst.
Survivors include his sisters, Linda Antolic (Jack) and Lee Dawson (Ron); grandchildren, Dylan and Aleksa Sandstedt; and stepdaughter, Belinda Stephens.
Chris enjoyed his community, his wonderful neighbors and friends, and cheering for the Denver Broncos. He was also thrilled to get reacquainted with his grandchildren in the past two years. His life joys included his numerous motorcycles and cars. He also loved animals, especially his cat Kick-Start.
SPEARFISH | Robert Leo "Bob" Wermers was born in Ethan, SD, on Sept. 27, 1931, and sadly passed away on Feb. 11, 2020.
Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 17, followed by a Memorial Service at 9 a.m. at Fidler-Isburg Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis.
A Celebration of Bob’s life will follow burial from noon to 3 p.m. at Bob and Pat’s home at 216 Yellowstone Place in Spearfish. Please come and join us in celebrating a life well lived. Bob would be happy to know that there was a party in his honor at his house.
RAPID CITY | Stephanie Marie Johnson, 33, died Feb. 3, 2020. She was born May 25, 1986.
Survivors include her mother, Teresa Perusich Johnson; her father, Rod Johnson; Uncle John and his wife, Sharon, and their four kids, Jamie, Beth, Sara and Riley; family friend, Jim Gillen; as well as numerous extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Hope Marie Johnson; Grandma and Grandpa Johnson; and uncles, Richard and Ronald Johnson.
