The Rapid City Journal is read by more than 58,500 people a day in print or online. That is a lot of people.
I am inviting any of readers who have ever considered becoming a member of Arrowhead Country Club to be my guest for a few hours at the club, located at 3675 Sheridan Lake Rd., from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 24.
This is an invitation to see everything Arrowhead has to offer. It is not just golf.
They have tennis, swimming, a playground, restaurant, bar and much more.
This is also a good time to meet me in person, alongside my editor, Kent Bush, my vice president of sales and marketing, Brad Casto, and our circulation and operation director, Josh Hart. They will be there answering your questions about the club and about our paper.
You have free articles remaining.
Truth be told, no one wants to talk to me. They all want to talk to the editor or circulation director. After all, the editor is the day-to-day manager of what gets into the paper, and circulation is always a topic. Advertising and marketing is always the fun guy to be around.
Anyway, back to my invitation. The Journal will have food and drink at the club for all of our guests. It will be a great time. Bring your significant other.
How many times can you say the newspaper is buying you heavy hors d'oeuvres and drinks? Dress will be business casual. If you would like to come, please drop me an email or call me on my office phone.
In the email or on the phone message, please give your name, how many are coming and a phone number.
We are limiting this opportunity, so please call or email quickly. If you come and like what you see, I will arrange for you to get a free week’s membership, which would include a tee time. I hope to see you at the club for this fun evening.
