Visit to Hanoi why Fonda is scorned
Hanoi Jane (Fonda) may or may not have done as the Internet accused her doing, but she sure was really happy to be photographed in the seat of that anti-aircraft gun while dressed in a North Vietnam army uniform and helmet in Hanoi during the Vietnam War. For that act alone she is despised by all Vietnam vets as a traitor to her country and a disgrace to all American servicemen. For this, she is universally scorned in America.
I will not pay to see her do anything on the screen.

Uranium mining will pollute the soil
It is fairly common knowledge that the prospect of mining uranium in the Edgemont area again is very dangerous because of the immense and detrimental contamination it will create for 10 to 20 years. Toxic chemicals will be released into the environment and atmosphere and include radium, radon, selenium, arsenic and others.
Selenium poisons livestock, because they eat the plants where selenium is found in the soil. Arsenic is in soil and rock and can be released into the environment when ore is mined. Arsenic is a carcinogen and affects the liver, lungs, kidneys and other areas of the body, so cancer is a major health risk. Children exposed to it have shown lower IQ scores. (Read the literature.)

We live on the beautiful planet Earth, where all needs are supplied abundantly for all creatures. So why poison it? No one can get on a magic carpet and travel to another planet where water exists.
What is needed is a return to sanity which will benefit everything and everyone and explore other alternatives like wind and solar power for energy.
